June 20th, 2008Today is the summer Solstice, the day with the longest period of
daylight in the year.
This is a good day to remember that if we face the light we are
never in the shadow.
If we face the negative, dark thoughts we are facing the shadow and
can not run from it no matter how hard we try.
If you have been consumed with dark thoughts it is time to turn
around!
Face the light.
Observe the truth.
Discern your choices.
Choose the positive.

Love is spelled T I M E
June 11th, 2008George Foreman’s book on fatherhood shares his stories of leading his family by example. He distills his message into a sweet sip of wisdom with this statement.
“Love is spelled T I M E.”
When I think of my father, I don’t remember the money he spent, I remember the time we shared. He held my hand when we were in the car together. As a little girl, I napped with his arm around me on weekend afternoons with the hushed tones of the golf match on TV playing in the background. I remember him rocking my own little girl on his shoulder as she fell asleep when we would visit from out of state.
T I M E spells love.
Little moments of togetherness bring back my sweetest memories of my dad.
